The Mission Council on Alcohol Abuse for the Spanish Speaking, (MCASA) was established in 1978 in response to the increasing demand for drug and alcohol counseling services in the San Francisco Bay Area. The organization's mission is to provide leadership, community care, and culturally appropriate services to adults and adolescents with alcohol problems, their families, and groups in underserved San Francisco communities.
