The National Automotive Parts Association aimed to improve the delivery of automotive parts and supplies to owners and managers of cars and trucks. Genuine Parts has purchased other NAPA member companies over time to make its stores and warehouses the only NAPA stores (about 6,500). In 2012, Genuine Parts completed a deal that added the last NAPA member company to its stable of about 6,500 stores and warehouses. Today, these stores - and their NAPA-branded counterparts such as NAPA AutoCare and NAPA Truck Service - give professionals, DIYers, and everyone else in need of parts or advice on how to keep their vehicles moving forward with high-quality parts, supplies, and resources. All parts that the company distributes (more than 500,000) pass through 57 distribution centres and eventually end up in one of over 6,500 NAPA Auto Parts stores or over 16,000 NAPA AutoCare Collision Centers in the United States.
