About Sirron Norris Studio and Gallery Sirron Norris Studio and Gallery is a fine art studio and gallery located in the vibrant Mission District in San Francisco. Sirron Norris, also known as Sirron Kyles, is the founding artist of the gallery and studio. Sirron launched his career in art in San Francisco following his graduation from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. The de Young Fine Art Museum (DYFAM) in San Francisco and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts have hosted Sirron as their Artist-in-Residence. Sirron has a storied history of public art contributions, and his 40-foot-tall mural, "Victorion: El Defensor de la Mission," is one of his most significant works. The mural is located in Balmy Alley in San Francisco’s Mission District. It has been showcased in a variety of magazines, books, and advertisements. Additionally, Sirron painted the Calumet Mural located at 18th and Bryant, which measures 600 square feet. He also created artwork for pediatric emergency rooms in the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital in collaboration with the San Francisco Arts Commission. He has worked in a variety of media, including television, film, and illustrations. For Fox Network's animated series "Bob's Burgers," Sirron was the main artist who designed backgrounds and characters. Sirron has also been featured in commercials, advertisements, and the PBS News Hour with Jim Lehrer. He bagged the Greater Bay Area Journalism Award in 2017 for his political comic, Cityfruit. Sirron runs the gallery and studio, where he also teaches animation and cartooning.
