Music and art are cherished for plenty of reasons. One of history's most significant feats is the ability to play a musical instrument. However, the skill one has acquired can be passed down for generations. It also feels good to perform for parents, grandparents, and relatives. Music lessons are handed down to middle school students, and those who choose to continue to opt to join bands and orchestras. Learning music turns out to be a very fundamental decision if they are to remain active as adults. Performing before a huge audience at the Opera House which has a great musical history worth it for those who pursue music as a career. To others, it is thrilling to perform before a live audience in any setting. Music has various academic benefits that come as a surprise. Some studies have shown that listening to music can improve cognitive ability. Recent research has proven that the Mozart Effect does not come from listening to Mozart. It is rather the music that activates the brain. Classical music has minor and major tones and the right and upbeat or major tones on the left. Robert Melillo, a researcher, has been working with a composer over the years to develop a music line, which is specifically designed to strengthen each hemisphere. Other studies have shown that students who study music and instruments can greatly improve their academic performance in mathematics, language arts, and other areas. Musicians also score highly on standardized tests including the SATs. These academic benefits are not readily said to the students who learn music, but they are evidently there. All in all, whatever the motivation behind it, music can bring joy and satisfaction that no other activity or yoga regimen can ever achieve. Every year, some parents will attend a school concert and say, “I wish my parents had encouraged me to learn an instrument”.

Almaden School of Music & Art has received several positive reviews on their instructors with some calling for a recommendation. Many parents and students are satisfied with the teachers with one commenting on the class ambience in her little Mozart class. For her, she won't hesitate to recommend the lessons to anyone, considering how much fun her 4 years old daughter is having. A parent noted that their child has learned so much and the teachers were very kind and caring, ensuring the child has the required skills and is comfortable. Another parent gave a five-year rating for the continued enjoyable piano and art lessons for her child. The largest criticism centered on administrative changes since 2018 with some parents lamenting that they had not seen the progress after trying to contact on several occasions. This shows that the management section has been affected, though there is no compromise about the teachers.
