Davidson College of Engineering at San Jose State University came into being in 1946, offering hands-on programs that sustained growth and innovation during the construction, food processing, and manufacturing boom. This busy college community is home to nearly 400 faculty members and over 700 staff, who support more than 7,000 students from diverse experience and educational backgrounds. They continue to focus on building design for sustainable cities and moving transportation forward, as well as driving science and technology research, engineering elite medications, and developing brain-controlled drones.
