Geoff Nugent, PhD, LMFT, LPCC, BCPC, CSPC, based the Nugent Family Counseling Center in 2007. Presently, it serves clients from four workplace locations in San Jose, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, California, and Reno, Nevada. Along with Geoff, the group serves a diverse community of children, teenagers, adults, and families affected by addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and grief. Their motive is to provide clients with the equipment to comprehend and acknowledge their feelings and conduct's consequences on themselves and their intimate relationships. Treatment sessions help families recall what they love about one another and use a mix of individual, family, and couples therapies. The most current therapy methodologies include dialectical behavioral therapy, psychological assessment, psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavior therapy, marital guidance, and anger management.
