Dr. Bernard I. Raskin, MD

Dr. Bernard I. Raskin, MD Dermatologist, Mohs surgery for skin cancer, and cosmetic surgery, graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. MD was earned at the prestigious University of California at Irvine School of Medicine. He then studied Internal Medicine at the University of California at Irvine and the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospitals. The UCLA program is one of the top in the country for Dermatology. Dr. Raskin is board certified in Dermatology (American Board of Dermatology), Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (American Board of Dermatology) and Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine). He also teaches in the Division of Dermatology of the Department of Medicine at UCI including dermatologic surgery and lasers and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Raskin is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Mohs Surgery. He is a member of both the L.A. County and California Medical Associations. In addition to his practice, he is also a qualified medical evaluator for the Industrial Medical Council of the State of California. He also consults with industry and has invented several medical devices. He has formed his own company, Surgiguide Products. Dr. Raskin has published numerous scientific articles and chapters in the fields of laser surgery and cutaneous surgery. He has been an active researcher throughout his career.
