Client Review Recap:
1. I had an amazing experience with Dr. O’Brien. She did outstanding work. Her staff is so kind and understanding. Her assistants were fantastic and took great care of me while delivering my inlays and crowns. I couldn’t be happier — nothing is better than replacing a silver tooth with a white one!2. As much as I wanted to have a good experience with Dr. Shelby Tesar, I found the provider to not be “patient-first”. I had received differing opinions about to handle certain things; when I brought it up to her she said “well why don’t you go do that with them”. I just explained a filling had fallen out for a 3rd or 4th time and wanted a place across the street. I obviously would have liked to work with her but I had been warned by dental hygeniests and dentists who are personal friends to be weary of “up-selling” dentists. They often get defensive and try to instill fear or as though I don’t fully understand to try and elicit an agreement with them. Overall, it was a quite strange and snarky response to having a difference of opinion. I wish the dentist the best but clearly the ego is too big if a patient (who pays you) has a question or opposing opinion and you can’t handle it.3. Dr. O'Brian is wonderful! She is a very caring dentist. The front office lady, however, was very snooty towards me when I challenged her decision to charge me for a service covered by my Insurance. She insisted it was not covered. I paid, but checked with my insurance company when I got home, and in fact it is covered 100%. Be aware that they may charge you for services that are covered by your insurance.4. Dr. Tesar is the best- she takes time to actually listen to concerns & work through any anxiety. She is knowledgeable about how oral health affects overall health, & has been helping me with my TMJ/jaw pain! :) I drive from up north down to Aurora to specifically see her!5. Everyone I've encountered at this office has been so welcoming and friendly. I've been seen by Dr Tesar and Dr O'Brien and both have impressed me with their empathy and competence and I feel very confident entrusting them with my care. Cassidy's attention to detail and ability to remember specifics about what I need (like a bite block) make me very comfortable with her. And Denisse is absolutely lovely, always making sure I'm as comfortable as possible and looking out for my well-being! I don't think I could have found a better dentist's office!
