Budget Truck Rental
Customers Feedback Summary; 1. Budget Truck Rental took a "rode hard" truck from LA one other way to Boulder and discovered the engine light was on. In addition, they drove through the Rockies in freezing weather after a snow storm and found the wiper fluid dispenser was not functioning. They had to stop every other time to clean their windshield. The truck was dropped off on time. The Budget employee, Asem, was very helpful with the moving truck return. He mentioned that this truck should not have been taken off their lot in LA. Thanks Asem for your support. I saved a lot of money because of your efforts. 2. Unfortunately, we were given a cargo van that was dangerous for a CO to WA move. We were in a jam due to an urgent move and this was the only cargo van the company could rent out. (there were 4 more vans but we were told that they could not be given out because of their safety recall issues) The windshield wiper fluid and the wipers were in poor condition. This was dangerous when we got into snow and there was sand on the road in Wyoming. The driver door and sliding door were also open due to multiple damages. This was the cause of the draft. This was even worse because there was no divider in the van and with the draft from the doors, the temperature in the van was colder than normal. The truck was dirty, and there were wires hanging from underneath the driver's side dashboard. Budget customer service gave us a refund on some of the money we used to rent the truck and also the money we had used to pay for it, but I am making this review for the sake of others who might contract them.
I could have made this zero stars if it was possible, 3. Unfortunately, we were provided with a cargo van that was not suitable for our move from CO to WA. We were in a corner as we were running out of time and this company was only willing to give us their cargo van.null
