K Contemporary

K Contemporary established in 2009 has reinvented the artistic experience. K Contemporary is an artist-centred gallery devoted to conceptual and contemporary artists. It occasionally organizes engaging pop-ups and art interventions and participates in art fairs. K Contemporary is a stage for involving contemporary artists to provoke conversation on how crucial contemporary art is in society by offering immersive, experiential exhibits. Doug Kacena (founder and owner) has established exhibitions at major institutions like Crystal Bridges, Denver Art Museum, and internationally recognized events such as the Sharjah Biennial and Biennial of the Americas since opening by. K Contemporary is an associate member of Denver Art Dealers Association (DADA). The gallery presents five to six exhibitions of an international and national background annually. We also host museum exhibitions, online exhibitions, and offsite installations to promote our artists in various locales. K Contemporary's physical space and online presence allow artists to experiment, take risks, and push the boundaries of contemporary art. The company is adamant that the promotion and celebration of diversity and inclusion in all forms of art are long overdue. K Contemporary has a moral obligation to provide a platform for underrepresented voices, perspectives, and experiences, as do all galleries. We strive to be an open, inclusive, and accessible space for artists and audiences of all races, origins, genders, and sexual orientations. K Contemporary also believes in paying artists a fair wage for their creations by supporting their livelihoods while allowing them to continue creating art.
