We are advocates for the underprivileged, and our message is one of solidarity. We believe in the right to equality and justice and that all persons deserve to be treated as equals. The underprivileged deserve equality and fairness. We do not fear telling the truth, and we challenge everyone who contributes to the exclusion and marginalization of any human being. Our organizations have been affected by the marginalized, the disenfranchised, and the unprivileged. We listen and monitor them and speak for them. We aim for lasting change nationwide and in Colorado. The awards are recognition of our work, and they are an honor to our clients who speak out and bring their issues to the attention of the public. The award is a call to action. All we do is campaign for the abused and prevent more abuse. We aim to highlight the faults in the systems and policies that enable the underprivileged to be discriminated upon and encourage change, one individual, one city, or one state level at a time. It is an honor to receive these awards. They inspire us to continue fighting and yelling on behalf of the persons we represent.
