Customer Feedback Overview for Budget Truck Rental: Budget is terrible; customer service is subpar and people blame corporate for everything. Three nightmare rentals in a year. NEVER AGAIN!! Still waiting...This company can't take responsibility for anything!Paid $1,000 more for a bigger truck with another company after Budget messed us up.1800 is yet to help as they promised after they failed to deliver what they had. Highly disappointed. Budget is the worst; I booked a 16' truck a month before the move, but they called 72 hours before the pickup date to say they don't have the truck. Horrible service, poor communication, and blame game at the end. Booked a 16' truck about a month ahead of a planned move, and they reached out 72 hours before I was supposed to pick up saying they don’t have a 16’ truck in grand junction. Associate Said it’s a known issue with the booking software considering montrose in market for truck availability- so if it’s a known issue why was the only communication I received at time of booking trying to sell me insurance that was already purchased at checkout? Incompetent business management & poor communication all around. They told me I had reserved a truck weeks before moving. I received a call three days before the move saying they had no truck available. I was not happy as they were not willing to help me. Buyer, be careful! A confirmation email does not mean you have a truck reserved. Failed business. It gets worse; they cancel my whole reservation without informed me. CONFIRMED reservation was retracted due to their incompetence. Horrible people! Zero stars!!! Last night we hit a deer in our rental van at 10pm. When calling budget, we were told to basically wait on the side of the highway for a representative and to call the police for a report. Police came and left but no representative. Called multiple times and then they agreed to tow us to the next town. Tow truck wasnt even ordered until after 1am and then we waiting until after 5am before one arrived to move us off the busy interstate after 7 hours of being stuck shaking the van with every vehicle passing worried about being hit and killed. Now we are stuck in a small town waiting for any sort of response at all as to when we will be getting a new truck with no ac or anything because it keeps overheating. This has been a 15 hour event and counting because they STILL cant give me an ETA for a truck. Budget does not seem to care at all and I do NOT recommend them at all in any way whatsoever after what they have put me and my family through. Zero stars!!!
