Edward Waters University

Edward Waters University (EWU) is Florida's premier independent higher education institution. It is also Florida's oldest institution for African-American students. EWU has a venerable history of higher education that has endured over 150 years. It will continue its Emerging Eminence by becoming the nation's leading urban, private Christian, historically Black, liberal arts college to grant high-quality four-year bachelor's degrees. Additionally, the College will equip students to be global citizens through intellectually challenging academic programs.
