In 1983, our father, Juan Concepcion Sr., fulfilled his goal of starting his body shop. He was a gas station owner in the 1960s and 1950s. In the late 1970s, he relocated to Miami and purchased many Sunoco gas stations and Shell service locations. Shortly after that, he bought Charlie's Auto Parts, an auto parts salvage yard. After learning the collision business in his neighborhood, he opened Charlie's Paint and Body Shop. Juan Concepcion Sr. designed the 2-story collision repair facility, which is regarded as one of South Florida's top body shops.
