Karl and DiMarco South

Founded in 1950, Karl & DiMarco South is one of the foremost dance studios in Tampa, FL. Our mission is to delight and nurture performance artists by developing their craft and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Ages 5-12 are welcome to join our performance teams. Performances are held year-round, and they will also qualify for conventions. Ages 6-18 participate in teams to compete and perform year-round, attend conventions, and learn to work collaboratively. Teams are mainly based on competitive level. These ages can be seen as a starting point; some people will be placed higher or lower based on what is best for the team/dancer. These teams will be chosen after all auditions and other teams will be created as needed. All Competition Team people must complete one summer intensive. Summer intensives are open to all human beings, whether or not they auditioned for a team. All levels can benefit from these intensives by increasing your strength, ability, and artistry.
