Our founder came to Honolulu in ’63, working as an art director before founding the gallery. She stopped exhibiting in 1956, working for Raymond Loewy in NYC. She painted in Milan from 1961-63. Her career included illustration in la Rinascente. Pegge was born in Oakland and studied under Lorser Feitelson at the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design.
