About this business
Prisma Dance was born in 2007 from a picture the Lord revealed to founder Nicole Lam. The image was pure white light representing the Holy Spirit illuminating a prism. It will penetrate the object's surface and glow whatever colours are embedded in it, revealing the Creator's glory. Just like the Holy Spirit illuminates a prism using white light, it will show the Creator's glory by the variety of colours it reflects, each with its purpose. This picture became Prisma's guiding vision where we are all prisms that reflect the Creator's glory. Dancers from kids to older adults are trained, equipped and released to worship and love the Lord through dance. The instruction will be Christ-centred, focusing on how to use our dance gifts to the Creator's glory and worship. Dancers will be equipped with the Biblical basis to dance in worship of God through a scriptural approach. Dance classes will release dancers into the worship of the Lord through either choreography or improvisation. We teach about Christ by worship, dance, and word. It includes dance classes, productions, and performances and even outreach work to Hawaii and beyond.

Many parents consider the studio a supportive environment that mirrors the values taught at home, especially with the infusion of faith-based elements in the classes. The students are equally happy, commending the engaging and fun dance curriculum, and they have, however, Nicolle's personal touch.
