About this business

Paws & Pints Customer Feedback Highlights Review 1: My dog is an Australian shepherd and he gets hotpot’s and I have tried everything to help this and the only thing that seems to help is the micro-bubble baths. He goes and gets this bath and within one to two baths his hotspots are cleared up and he goes without getting more for months on end. I would highly recommend this service to anyone needing either a deeper clean or for relieving hot spots! The staff that do the grooming are also very helpful and always very friendly to both me and my dog! Review 2: This place makes you wanna be a dog Review 3: After checking their website In the parking lot to confirm that Mondays are a $5 day pass, I went inside to be rudely told that they now charge $8.50 on Mondays. The staff would not honor their advertised price, and I was told that the website was updated to show their new prices(but obviously wasn’t). Kitchen closed Mondays too. what do you get for another $3.50 more than what they supposedly used to charge? Won’t be back to a place that won’t honor their advertised prices and tries to charge more at the door. Staff was very rude. Review 4: I wanted to share about our excellent experience with our 15 year old (obvi elderly) yellow lab. They didn’t ask for this rating/review, but they deserve it! Let’s start with the fact that we NEVER board our sweet girl. She’s ALWAYS stayed with family…. But when all the family goes on a trip together, what must one do? Search tirelessly for a place that your elderly dog will be ok at while you’re gone for almost 2 weeks . Very stressful indeed. We purchased the luxury room (comes with camera capabilities) and added some other extras. They excelled from her drop off and until we picked her up. They were understanding that we were nervous to leave her… they went above and beyond to let us take her back and get her settled and walk them through all the “things” never once making us feel like we were “extra.” They were super respectful and responsive with the chat feature - actions were taken quickly when requested (you better believe I was watching on the video to see). They learned quickly about our girl, listened to instructions and followed through… that builds trust quickly!! When we picked her up they were there to tell us about her stay and with enough specifics to know it wasn wasn’t just generalizations. Thanks so much, you guys. This was a very anxiety-inducing step to leave our old girl with ANYONE and you exceeded expectations and she was soooo happy to see us, but even went back to give the lead staff person (assuming she’s the lead as she was there when we dropped her off and was very knowledgeable and helpful) an extra wag and leg rub to say “thanks.” Review 5: I'm not sure how they do it, but the amazing staff at Paws & Pints are able to successfully trim my pointer's nails, and he's still excited to come back every time! 10/10 - they have the best people working here! Review 6: Fun for your dog and to pet other dogs! Review 7: The employees are great, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is terrific! My dog loves it there. We go for 2-3 hours every weekend to get her to burn energy and it does the trick as she is passed out at my legs right now. Review 8: Always enjoy going here when I get time with my dog. It's very relaxing and supper safe for my boy. I appreciate the staff at the spa for always getting back to me when I call. Also shout out to the staff in the park and bar area and keep up the cute doggy ties! ️ 10/10 recommend. Review 9: Paws & Pints is one of our favorite places to visit with our Golden Retriever, Indy. There's nothing quite like watching him run around, burn off energy, and make new dog friends while we relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Staff does an excellent job monitoring interactions and keeping an eye on the dogs, especially when tensions start to rise. Their attentiveness helps create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. One of my favorite parts is when a random friendly pup decides I'm their new best friend and stops by for some pets—pure bliss. It appears the age restriction may have been relaxed, as we noticed several young children (under 6) enjoying the splash area and tennis ball launcher. In fact, a few of them seemed to be having even more fun than the dogs! What really sets Paws & Pints apart is the variety of events they host. Whether it's trivia nights, live bands, foam parties, or other special events, there's always something happening to keep things interesting for both dogs and their humans. If you're looking for a place where your dog can play, socialize, and have an absolute blast while you enjoy a fun community atmosphere, Paws & Pints is tough to beat. Indy gives it two paws up! Review 10: $16 for a day pass. They have an indoor bar and an outdoor oasis. Everyone's dog's were nice. Staff was attentive to aggressive behavior. Could use more seated areas in shade. Review 11: We love going to Paws & Pints, especially when the large outdoor dog park is open. We like to go during their drink specials and avoid larger events so it isn’t too crowded. Our dogs are always happy and exhausted after! It is a great way to enjoy a bar/restaurant/patio without leaving your dog at home. Our youngest dog has also gone to their daycare a lot and loves it. The workers always remember her name which is nice. Review 12: We love going to Paws & Pints, especially when the large outdoor dog park is open. Go somewhere else. Review 14: We absolutely love coming here! It’s our dog Camp’s most favorite place. The staff is great, especially Bryce behind the bar. He’s definitely our favorite and makes the best margarita. We’ve also gotten to know Corbin and his dog Stella that comes to work with him. Kayli is another favorite puppy bouncer. Every city needs a Paws and Pints. So fortunate we have it in Des Moines. Review 15: We absolutely love coming here! It’s our dog Camp’s most favorite place.
