LARX Office Renovation & Commercial Remodeling was the key to our success The Natural Lighting Alone Made A Massive Difference LARX gutted the layout and rebuilt it into something modern and open. Our corporate office was outdated and felt like it was from the 90's poor lighting, closed off rooms, wasted hallway space, etc. The natural lighting alone made a massive difference. The space is much more inviting and feels way bigger. Employees actually want to be in the office now, which says a lot. The Front of House & Kitchen Layout Was a Bottleneck LARX reworked the front of the house and the kitchen flow and the difference is real. Our restaurant layout was a bottleneck during lunch rush. Servers kept running into each other, and Friday nights were a disaster. Now Friday nights run way smoother. I Would Highly Recommend LARX We got our office renovation done by LARX, and things went smooth. A colleague in Evanston recommended them after they did his space. The first meeting, they was prepared and had good questions about what we needed. The materials selection was easy and fast using their supplier discount list. The work moved on schedule, project manager kept us in the loop. Final results looks clean and professional. LARX Helped Us Plan For Lease Renewal We started the process last winter when our lease renewal gave us the chance to renovate. LARX came out for a walkthrough and gave us a realistic scope and budget within a week. The design revisions were quick, and they didn't push back when we changed direction on the layout twice. The permitting in River North took a bit longer than we expected, but they handled it. The construction moved steadily once it started, and we were able to move back into the space we needed when they originally projected. The whole thing felt organized from start to finish. Their Renovation of Our Financial Services Office Was Seamless LARX handled the full renovation of our financial services office, and the finished product is exactly what we were after. The new layout gives us six private offices along the window line with a shared conference room in the center, which was a big change from the open bullpen setup we had before. The reception area has a much more polished feeling to it now, which matters a lot in our line of work since clients form opinions the second they walk through the door. The built-in millwork in the conference room turned out really well, and the lighting throughout is way better than what we had. Flooring, ceiling grid, paint, all of it was done to a level that feels consistent and well thought out. It reads like a space that was designed with intention rather than just slapped together. The New Layout Is Working Out I am very pleased with the result of the renovation. They knew what they were doing. Their commercial remodeling service is one of the best. They were able to redesign it in a way that I wouldn't have thought of. We've been running our practice out of a dated office in Chicago for almost 15 years, and the space was just not working anymore. The patient flow was terrible, the front desk was crammed into a corner, and the break room was literally a converted closet. Staff morale was low just from dealing with the layout every day. LARX came in and completely redesigned the whole floor plan. They moved the reception area to the center so foot traffic makes sense now, added two more workstations along the window wall, and built out a real break room with a counter and actual ventilation. The conference room has a glass partition wall that lets natural light through, which makes the whole back half of the office brighter. The biggest thing was they phased the construction so we could keep half the office running during the build. We only had to fully close for maybe four days total. The old carpet is gone, replaced with polished concrete that looks way more modern. Also the electrical got completely redone, enough outlets and data drops so we're not running extension cords and power strips everywhere like before. The difference walking in every morning is wild. A Solid Job From LARX on Our Office Remodel I was satisfied with the whole remodeling work. They were prompt. Workers were very friendly and did a great job.
