Mind’s Eye Art Studio & Gallery

I am Sara Lubin, a woman of many titles. I’m an educator, coach, mother, artist-curator, and the proprietor of Mind’s Eye Art Studio & Gallery. I strive for student learning through individual attention and community engagement. I have taught in Chicago since 1997. No matter your age or skill level, my purpose as an educator is to provide a safe environment for my students. Being an artist is more than simply learning to paint or draw. It is about taking risks and having confidence in your abilities, as well as making mistakes. Mind’s Eye Art Studio & Gallery (MEASG) offers creativity education at its unique studio based in Roscoe Village / Lakeview, Chicago. We offer classes and camps for all ages, and visitors can join our small group for personalized, classical, and contemporary art instruction. I have aspired to own a small gallery and art studio for over a decade. The large, corporate studio that I co-managed went under at the beginning of the pandemic. There was no space or galaxy for artists and creatives of all ages. The community felt it. I was destroyed when it happened, but the devastation became determination. I had an innate duty to give students and communities inexpensive and genuine art education, focusing on expression, process, and self, so I opted to make my dream a reality and open my art gallery and studio.
