Passion House Coffee

I selected Chicago because I grew up in the suburbs. I was also captivated by Beatniks, their conversations, and community. I discovered artists doing their art and sharing their creations and experience with each other. It was my first time around kindred spirits, and I found my community. For two decades, I have traveled the globe with coffee. Cultures that I have encountered during my journey will always have a special part in me. The Midwest, particularly Chicago, began calling when I worked as a barista in Chicago. Despite the West Coast being my preferred destination, it did not take long before I returned home. In 2011, I made an effort to establish a Chicago coffee company that had a strong and focused DNA: beans with integrity from seed to cup and a culture and vibe that inspired people to chase their dreams. Ten years later, I am proud of what my team and I have become and cannot wait to see where we shall go. Passion House embodies the soul and sounds of Chicago for me. My daily life is a series of events where I constantly analyze my every action, coffee, food, words, interactions, and collaborations. I would like to believe I switch off from this storm, but I doubt I can say it with honesty. Exhausting as it is, I am not sure I have this ability. Music has always been a bedrock for me. It has helped me unwind and soothed my soul whether I am in a club or concert. In my happiest or most challenging moment, music sets me free and resonates with my emotions, thoughts, and ideas. It feels like I have never been more alive when I am alone with my headphones or at a party spinning records. It helps me battle my fears, navigate my darkest moments and corners, and love myself.

The reviews of a new coffee joint mention superb coffee, particularly, single-origin options like espresso. The lattes are excellent, as are the doughnuts. People commend the expert staff and the parking. The cafe is beautiful and serves fantastic vegetarian pastries. Nearby, the open area seats are a plus. On busy days, the lack of outlets could be a problem. But, most still recommend this new hangout. Many have purchased bean bags for their homes, and at times a promotion is on offer. In summary, near the expressway, this coffeehouse belongs on the list of excellent coffee shops the city has to offer.
