Jewelry is one of the most challenging things to source ethically. Gems, minerals, and metals are all mined by artisans in remote, harsh, and often dangerous conditions. Knowing the origin of our jewelry and our jewelry's entire supply chain is essential. Even if it means traveling to Africa or Asia (as Melissa did in 2018 in this picture) to meet the people at the start of the journey, we want to follow our jewelry's supply chain.
