About Kurt's Service Centers
Kurt's Service Centers have been a Rockford institution for a long time. Over the years, we have fixed cars and trucks, as well as heavy trucks. Kurt's Auto and Truck Center Inc. began at the corner of Central and Cunningham on April 24, 1974. We have grown continuously ever since. We opened a second location on Harrison Avenue in 1999. The next year, Chuck Kurt began giving car advice on the Doug Line Radio Show on WNTA 1330 AM. Bob Perno celebrated his 30th year as the general manager of Harrison Service Center in 2007.
