Sargent & Meier Feedback Summary: 1. The communication with my attorney was impossible. I echo Steven Nowaczyk comments. Linda was nearly impossible to reach and everything was done via mail. In this day and age, she continues to do EVERYTHING by mail and there are multiple charges for each piece of correspondence. She took over $5k of our money for a custody case, came to the trial unprepared, attempted to quickly come up to speed 15 minutes before the trial and was down right rude when confronted about her lack of preparation. Linda never called or emailed me, everything was done via mail. Whenever anything was sent from the court or the other party I had to pay for Linda to read the letter, forward the letter to me, type a response, then mail the response to court and other parties. This process was very expensive. If I wanted to talk to Linda, I had to schedule an appointment at around $300/hr. She would not just make it a 5-minute phone call. So after almost $20k with the firm I was left with a worse case scenario. I had opportunities to settle which would have yielded better results, but Linda never advised me to do so.
