HG Ventures can invest in pre-revenue or pre-product stages, but we prefer to see the beginning of a full-time, dedicated executive team. We target the United States primarily, but we will consider opportunities in other countries. We invest up to $20,000,000 in every portfolio company. We can invest more if the opportunity justifies it. We are interested in companies that disrupt traditional industries through technology and new processes. We drive business growth by partnering with visionary entrepreneurs to maximize capital and resources. We are flexible with the initial investment amount, even if it is participation in small financings. We look to create value milestones with no set expectations of liquidity. Financing can be structured and led by HG Ventures, or we can help other investors form a syndicate. We take board positions in companies needed for growth but not in every company. Confidentiality procedures and policies protect the privacy of information about private companies. All company information is private within a small group of HG Ventures humans. It is never shared with anybody in The Heritage Group unless our entrepreneur partners have authorized it.
