I can create a consistently high-quality product by focusing on the small details. This quality stands out because I'm a bit of a chef by trade. My family has always had restaurants, and my father ran restaurants in Tennessee, so my training began young. I started in those restaurants long before I could legally work. My dad used to work really hard, and I remember watching him sweat as he mopped or the way he toiled with his team. I wish my son could learn about hard work in the same way, by working with me side-by-side. Roasting coffee was natural for me, and in 15 years, I have discovered that even little details matter. Coffee roasting is an art for me, and I complete it using all my senses. I like to see myself working together with a bean in the old style of man and bean. I love to see the sparkle of joy when someone tastes my coffee. I roast carefully so all we make for you is wonderful enough.
