About this business

City Natives operates on a 0.5-acre plot in the heart of Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, where the team grows all of its plants from seed. This location also includes a greenhouse, nursery, composting, waste management infrastructure, and demonstration and display plants. Every plant we grow is native to Canada and the eastern United States. We stock a wide range of shrubs, trees, and native plants that thrive across Boston's suburban and urban environments. We also sell an assortment of hybrid and heirloom vegetable and herb seedlings in the spring and fall. Our selection includes medicinal herbs as well as compact, disease-resistant vegetable varieties. Every plant is grown organically and is sprayed only with organic pesticides.
