Prudential Annuities Life Assurance Corporation d/b/a Prudential Annuities, Shelton, CT (main office), has been acquired by Fortitude Group Holdings LLC on April 1, 2022. Fortitude Re, Bermuda’s largest multiline reinsurer, is the parent company of PALAC after the Fortitude Re acquisition. Due to Fortitude Re’s acquisition, the Company is no longer affiliated with PFI and its subsidiaries. However, all PALAC contracts will continue to be serviced and administered by a Prudential entity. PALAC Variable Annuities are sold by Prudential Annuities Distributors, Inc., Shelton, CT. PAD and PALAC are wholly-owned respectively by PFI and Fortitude Re. Each is responsible for its financial and contractual conditions.
