Koba Café

Freshly brewed coffee, tea, and espresso, as well as breakfast and lunch, can be found at Koba Café. There is seating downstairs and a study room upstairs that is perfect for relaxing. One of the founders, Adama, started working as a barista in a coffee shop while studying civil engineering. One day, he discovered that he felt more alive and connected to others when he was working with people. As he took on more and more tasks at the coffee shop, Adama began to think about opening his own café. His ambition was to develop an inclusive and respectful community that placed a high value on human interaction. The café was supposed to feel as if you were walking into someone's living room. All kinds of people from various walks of life would walk in and talk, all equal. Expecting the shop to be run by the community, Adama co-founded Koba Cafe in September 2005. Baltimore, our home, welcomed us from the start, and a bustling community quickly grew. Koba Cafe is proud to be a small Baltimore business, and we cannot thank all of our friends enough for their help. From our loving neighbors who shovel our driveway for us when it snows to our sincere regulars who come in for a coffee every day and took their engagement pictures at Koba.
