My husband and I purchased land, Mr Long was the Lawyer involved. Our deed was given to us with my name spelled incorrectly. I returned the deed and a month later it was returned still incorrect with a letter stating a typo was acceptable. (It is not acceptable to me.) I then emailed Mr Long to tell him I wanted it fixed and returned to them the deed. After several months I received our deed back with the mistake whited out and the correct letter typed in. Garbage! Mr. Badger helped us with a long distance sale of my mother's Maryland home that also involved a Specific Power of Attorney. In Mama's aging condition there were stop and go's with the transaction but Mr. Badger never lost his patience or became frustrated with her or the situation. He spoke to her with dignity and kindness, and we moved forward at her comfort level. He always returned my calls and emails in a timely fashion (a pet peeve of mine) and was never too busy to answer questions or explain things. When Mama passed he was so kind and helpful, as well as knowledgeable, with his advice to us. Having been a Realtor for 31 years, as well as my personal legal matters, I've had many, many dealings with attorneys and I would rank him among the top in terms of the delightful and rare combination of competence and compassion void of ego.
