Denise Caston Clark presented her talk at the TEDx Detroit Conference in 2011. She is the owner and director of Tap Dance Detroit and Performing Arts Center. She holds ten years of experience as a Radio City Rockette. Denise has played roles in Crazy For You, which won a Tony, and performed Savion Glover’s choreography at a showcase in New York City. She has also staged performances in Australia, including in the show Elvis to Max, and danced all over the continent. Her choreography has been seen in many of the productions she’s performed in, including at Caesars Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Denise has acted in television, film, and commercials. She has also shared her knowledge at the Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, as well as Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive in NYC. Now, she is looking forward to launching Tap Dance Detroit. Some of her other teaching credentials include Debbie Allen Dance Academy Summer Intensive and Gregg Russell’s Tap Into the Network. She has also shared her talent at the Big Apple Tap Festival and The Rockette Experience (c) in Radio City Music Hall.
