Brookhills Legal Services Customer Feedback Summary Before the change of Wealthy street Firm to Brookhills Legal Services, I contracted the services of Wayne Crow the attorney. Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can away from this Firm; they will take your money and do nothing to help you. I had to hire a different lawyer to assist me to get a divorce. (IL) The legal firm changed its title from Wealthy street Lawfirm to Brookhills Legal Services. Wayne is an intense lawyer, and you would want him on your part. My case got juggled a bit as it was transitioning into Brookhills Legal Services. I would not refer Jonathan Browning who I got stuck with; he appeared poorly prepared in the courtroom and took an extended time to prepare a modification in custody order after the fact, except for the rest of the team. If you need anything, Dave is the go-to person. He is a “For the client” 100%. I was upset and frustrated after the court hearing and Dave made sure it got fixed to the best of his ability and informed Wayne so that things started moving a lot smoother. I rate Dave 5 stars as he was extraordinary throughout the entire process. The only thing I would change is Jonathan, implying that this rating is four stars out of five. Tori is superb, and I highly recommend her as your family Lawyer representative, as she kept great communication with me, and knew her stuff! 10/10 with them! (WC) I reached out to Wayne when it was Wealthy Street Lawfirm. Ask for Wayne, an aggressive attorney is someone you want on your side. It got a bit mixed up as it was transitioning to Brookhills Legal Services and I would not recommend. Jonathan Browning, who I was left with, seemed poorly prepared in court, and the time he took to prepare a modification in custody order after the fact was long, except for the rest of the staff. However, Dave is a go-getter and an advocate of the client. I was upset after the court hearing, and everything got fixed by Dave to the best of his ability and informed Wayne so things moved smoothly for me. I give him a 5 star-rating for assisting me throughout. The only thing I would change is the lawyer I ended up with which is why this is 4 stars. I give them 4 stars (JB) This law firm is an absolute joke! My wife paid them 2500 dollars and the lawyer she hired just up and "quit". They never contacted us to let us know after ditching our calls and never got back to us. They decided to let me and not my wife know her lawyer quit. This place will take your money and run. (WC) I would give negative stars if I could the receipt is dated 7/21/2025 that was for a retainer I paid to this law firm to help me with a motion to file change of schools and a change of parenting time. That’s when I should have known better, it took rescheduling twice and multiple phone calls to get a scheduled initial consultation. I ended up meeting with Torrey, I was told she was the one who would file the paperwork I needed by Friday August 8. She ended up “leaving the company”, no one from the office called me to tell me, I spent days trying to get a hold of someone in the office, and when they finally did get a hold of me, they sent a “change of attorney form”, the name on the form was not even correct, My husband and I ended up going to their office on Cascade, we were given a worthless sob story about how they did not have our money, and they don't have a way to return it to us, Jonathon even said "if I wrote you a check, it would bounce" This office is a joke, please do not give them any money. My husband has reached out to the news about this awful place and have filed the grievance paperwork with the state of Michigan. (JY) This law firm is complete trash! They failed to notify me of a court date, which forced a full in-person hearing, then charged me a second retainer to fix their own mistake — and still made things worse. John even told me my closing statement was filed on time, but the court order says it wasn’t even considered. Poor communication, no accountability, and costly mistakes — I would never recommend this attorney. It appears they have changed their name because of the horrible reputation they had when they were "wealthy st law firm". They lied to me, didn't file stuff in time when I was told stuff was filed, they won't answer your calls, and wayne refuses to refund me. They have done absolutely nothing for me since I paid them. GO ELSEWHERE. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. This law firm is an absolute joke and Wayne will over promise and under deliver hands down. This isn't my first bad review, but the last one I made Wayne called me, asked me to take it down, and promised to keep in touch.... Just another lie. I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. Don't be down and out like me. They had no regard for my case or what I went through.
