KLO specializes in criminal defense, representing adults and minors accused of the most serious offenses in Michigan. Such crimes include murder, armed robbery, criminal sexual behavior, and home invasion. KLO also handles family law issues. KLO can represent clients who wish to resolve family conflicts in the courtroom or through mediation. KLO also assists clients with post-judgment orders and modifications, such as revisiting child custody arrangements or addressing the division of marital property. Education, Employment, and Training Michigan State University in 2006 awarded Robyn her bachelor's (B.A.) degree. She earned a double bachelor's degree in political science and psychology. She commenced her legal training at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2006. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2010. Experience and Achievements Robyn believes that clients need serious legal representation for serious criminal charges. She understands the challenges her clients face and works tirelessly to reduce or dismiss their charges and, if required, win their cases at trial. She uses her resources and hard work to avoid her clients receiving a prison sentence, a lengthy period of probation, or excessive fines. Robyn is famous for her insight and candor. She has successfully resolved high-stakes child custody and divorce cases. Being a professor at Oakland University, she has emphasized that children must be protected and that abuse must be prevented. Her work as a child protection specialist, abuse/neglect investigative officer and child abuse/neglect advocate at Michigan Department of Health & Human Services allows her to represent parents accused of neglect or abuse. As a student intern in the Public Sector Legal Clinic, she also presented a seminar on parenting time modifications and child support to prisoners at Kent County Jail.
