Customer Feedback Highlights: Anna's firm needs to be thoroughly investigated and avoided at all costs. She was probably the worst attorney I have ever seen, took days to respond, stopped less than 24 hrs before court after receiving a 2nd retainer agreement, and wouldn't advocate for me. Then she decided to bill me for the voicemails/emails requesting an update on the case. Over $7,000, as she's threatening to send to collection for the extra $3,000 she billed when it wasn't paid within 24 hours of the bill being issued. This attorney should be reported to the MN Lawyers Board. She says she's an aggressive attorney on her bio, but was so against the trial and mediation with my kids' abusive father that she urged me to settle with him and take whatever he had. Why? Because she didn't advocate for me during mediation, even after telling me over and over that she would've gone to trial if needed. I paid her tens of thousands of dollars without a refund and then the divorce wasn't finalized. The paperwork she sent on February 23 was awful, with numerous glaring mistakes. I emailed her about these issues on June 4, June 10, June 11, June 13, June 17, June 18, June 23, June 28, July 10, July 15, July 30, July 31, Aug 1, Aug 5, Aug 12, Aug 13, Aug 15. Despite all this, she didn't make the changes until August 19. By the time this was completed, it was already too late. My ex-husband kidnapped our children on September 1, the day we were supposed to share 50/50 custody and him to pay the home equity offset. This led to an emergency hearing in front of Judge Edwards. My kids were very upset, but Anna couldn't care less. She only paid attention when the judge scolded her, not when the kids were crying to see their mommy. Throughout this whole time, I went back to Minnesota and was prevented from leaving because I needed to pay for my home. I needed to take out a loan to make sure I continued living in Minnesota so my kids could have their mother there. What a horrible experience. Our daughters are still without their mother, and all Anna can focus on are the legal fees. She has the worst communication skills and makes terrible mistakes. This is a horrible attorney who will scam you and your family. Do not hire her.
