Providence School of Arts

Providence School of Arts (PSA) began in 2012 to "bring the arts to the heart of the city, offering a high-quality, affordable private school alternative" to the public education system in Kansas City. Since then, the school has offered an annual summer camp for the community, opened an elementary school, and developed an array of arts enrichment programs. Kansas City, a city marked by injury and divided by socioeconomic and racial inequalities, has a tale to tell. This inability affects its most valuable asset, its children. Kansas City is one such narrative. This history is characterized by inequity, and it has many tales to tell. The glass is just half-full. PSA has the potential to rebuild and transform the city. This divide must be shunned. PSA's dream is to eradicate all disparities and restore harmony and wholeness to Kansas City. To glorify God, diverse learners would eventually be active members of their local communities. Every kid must learn to understand their value and live out their calling. We believe our children are the way Jesus Christ brings healing and reconciliation to the neighborhood.
