For nearly four decades, Art Saint Louis has been a non-profit community organization and gallery. We have continually strived to enhance the lives of our people by supporting the intrinsic creativity of contemporary visual artists in our region. And we have been successful: we connect, inspire, educate, and share our communities. Therefore, we have increased the cultural and economic vitality of our immediate surroundings. We celebrate 38 years in our gallery and outreach programs. Throughout these years, we have aspired to promote visual arts and their significance to every resident. We believe that artists' contributions and visual art can communicate transcendent messages to everyone. We know that through aesthetic exploration and illumination, artists can awaken the spiritual and social awareness of our community. Thus, our community is empowered to see nuances, and value individuality. That is the foundation of true cultural and social unity around the world, and we continue to grow as a community together. We are also dedicated to our mission to develop and present original exhibitions and educational programming. This is fundamental to our belief that we must embrace the art of our region. We think it is essential to connect visual artists with their public and help them succeed in their professional journey. We think the community also benefits from our efforts. We deepen their appreciation, understanding, and enjoyment of contemporary visual arts. It is important because we believe our visual art reflects our history, culture, and character. Art Saint Louis provides a wealth of resources locally. We host exhibitions throughout the year in our downtown gallery/cafe. Our exhibition space is located in the Park Pacific Building at 1223 Pine Street and is open to the public and free of charge. Art Saint Louis Juried Exhibitions showcases new work by visual artists 18 years and older who live within 200 miles of St. Louis. The organization also develops educational and outreach programs. It undertakes the management of our Art Rental and sales programs. Moreover, it produces its own signature artistic programming. The institution offers comprehensive services like counseling and portfolio reviews to artists. We are excited about the impact of our work in building a St. Louis national identity. St. Louis may not yet be a global center for visual arts, but the city's cultural history is rich. It should be celebrated because we understand the arts not as works to be consumed, but as works that can be produced.

Most people love the gallery, with this being a place that has a great number of foot traffic any time there is an exhibition. Although the space is reasonably smaller, everyone is excited about the drinks inside. Some comments point to the area’s positivity, showing that local artists are lucky to have such a supportive gallery. The art is amazing, and so is the coffee. The events are great too, and a person can relax knowing that such an open gallery has a few extra things like couple-friendly events with coffee and art. People love to be here, irrespective of whether it's an artist friend’s exhibition or not. The gallery is a safe haven for many, especially the socially isolated among us. This is a place for everyone from those of us who are struggling artists or if you are invited to a semi-formal party at the same gallery. And although the reviewer is looking for the costs for the events, they are still generally happy with the place. Overall, the consensus concurs that it's a pleasant gallery, especially when coupled with a cup of coffee.
