Componere Gallery of Art & Fashion has been known as an art gallery since 1986. I am an artist residing in St. Louis, Missouri, who enjoys abstract expressionist painting. This painting style allows me to combine my diverse experiences. Over almost seven decades, I have flown as an international airline pilot, test pilot in space, aerobatic pilot, racing pilot, and airshow performer. All my life I had dreamed of making art, and now I have fulfilled my ambition. When I'm not navigating the sky, I immerse myself in my subconscious. Art is not inherently meaningful, nor is there a secret to understanding its origin. My medium of choice is the canvas. I use oil, acrylic, and enamel paints. Palette knives and brushes are utilized to apply layers.
