South County Archery Range

South County Archers (SCA), inc. is the premier organization of its kind in St. Louis dedicated to promoting Archery and its surrounding region. SCA was established as a club in 1964 and incorporated as a non-profit corporation in 1994. The purposes of this organization shall be to build up, foster and maintain the sport of Archery. Encourage the spirit of fellowship, and the use of the bow and arrow to hunt all legal game. Cooperate with conservation groups in conservation and management. SCA offers a field archery course with a total of 28 targets that are stationary in Jefferson Barracks County Park. This club hosts 3D Fun Shoots every week, from the 1st Wednesday of April to the 1st Wednesday of October on Wednesdays. This club also conducts 3D Archery Tournaments with 30 targets. To unify the family and promote outdoor activities. We are committed to the community, supporting two remarkable veterans charities, The Joshua Chamberlain Society and the St. Louis Fisher House. We also support and donate to youth archery such as MONASP. Three times a year, the activity camps take place in collaboration with St. Louis County Parks Department. At this event, many of the kids are experiencing archery for their first time. South County Archers provides all equipment and instructors to all events. We also partner with the VA Hospital, offering assistance with archery, helping disabled/wounded Veterans by taking part in their rehabilitation. We also instruct our youth on how to do archery at our 3-day event held during the St. Louis Sports Show.
