I am busy painting. To build that emotional link, layering paint, brushwork, and texture must be used. People should think they are walking into a familiar location, and they need to feel compelled to stay and understand more. The more they look, the more the people will feel they have been in this location, remembering a day they walked down the same path. More than anything else, they need to feel drawn to each piece they pass. Holt McLean Studios LLC Holt Cleaver has liked art since she can remember. Her journey as an artist was cemented in her first year of high school when she won the National Gold Key Scholastic Art Award. The award was known as the National Gold Key Scholastic Art Award. It is currently hanging at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington, D.C. Holt graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University in 2001. She left for Los Angeles to launch her career in graphic design. She wanted to work with major Hollywood studios, but life took her on a different path. She was promoted as the Calabasas Teens and Adult Program director at Woodland Hills Fine Art Studios and Calabasas after completing her studies at Mission: Renaissance Academy. In 2003, Holt enrolled in Umbria’s International School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture under Dan Gustin and Martha Armstrong’s guidance. This drove her to return to North Carolina in 2005. Holt was hired as the Green Rice Gallery in Noda’s Gallery Director (Holt: About). He began to make a name for himself by taking pictures of the beautiful scenery near his home. Holt has had many works displayed in exhibition halls across the Carolinas (Holt: About). Holt School of Fine Art started in 2009. Holt, her husband, and their two young boys like driving taxis.
