Matone Counseling & Testing

We rented a 100-year-old mountain home in western North Carolina in the middle of June 2021, and we assembled our executive team to chart the course of our organization under our new name, Matone Counseling & Testing. For over six years, we had been operating under a different brand. We were proud of the work we did under that other name, but we were eager to create our own identity. So, we ordered some takeout, put on some sweats, and busted out the dry erase board to write down our Vision, Mission, and Values. I'm glad we spent the time because I believe we discovered the true core values that underlie everything we do.

Given that most people commented on the comfort they felt when attending meetings and their progress in therapy, the thematic analysis indicates that the center is the best and has a supportive community where clients feel supported, which means that client care and satisfaction is highly valued and achieved. Most people feel comfortable referring their friends and family to the counseling center.
