After my previous experience where communication was lacking with my former attorney, I was relieved to work with a team that informed me and actually cared.6. I selected this law firm for my boyfriend to have a consultation with, I went and during the consultation I was ready to walk out. I stood up to leave. Nathan Gudeman was a smooth talker who has an ego that far exceeds his skills. My boyfriend wanted to trust him, and therefore hired him. Nathan claimed he had such a friendly relationship with the opposing parties attorney, he could just resolve matters quickly and easily. He did not resolve things quickly or easily and he did not do a good job at all on my boyfriends behalf, in my opinion. When we brought up concerns, he was condescending and seemed like he was working to get the other party more money. He and Alice Womack are not responsive to emails in a timely manner. When my boyfriend asked him very nicely to provide the case file after the matter was done, Nathan acted like he'd never heard of a case file before and had nothing to give him. I went all the way off on Nathan, and suddenly, wow, he has something resembling a case file he will give my boyfriend. They nickel and.dimed my boyfriend, charging about 3x as much as expected. Charging for simple things such as just to let us know the other parties attorney said her client is out of town. Absolutely ridiculous, terrible service. This law firm has way too close of a relationship with Lily Van Patten, the opposing parties attorney, to be able to be effective in helping clients against her. They all have her cell.phone number and act like they work for her. She even treated Nathan like he should do her.paralegal work, sending him contracts with mistakes on them so they can both run up more billable hours against their clients. He should never have agreed to take my boyfriends money under the guise of helping. Here we are now hiring another attorney to fix this. When I told Nathan exactly what I think of him and how he handled things, he responded by not addressing anything at all about my frustration and disappointment with him, but by sharing his feelings that I shouldn't be involved in my boyfriends legal matters and it would have been easier without me. Yeah, he would have LOVED to keep charging my boyfriend and helped the other parties attorney get an even higher amount than necessary.
