Client Review: 1. Horrible experience with this law firm. If zero stars were an option, I would pick that. I’ve been with this firm for almost 5 years now after suffering a life-altering automobile accident, and the way they have treated me is unforgivable. They never once called, updated or bothered to fight for my case! They called me in for case mediation and then, much to my surprise, halfway through I was told the defendant's attorney was known to be very aggressive, and my chances of winning were very low at trial. Even now, the situation has made me feel that my case has been weakened, and my original thoughts were correct when I thought my injuries were being downplayed and made to seem pathetic! And by the time the actual case happened, they "advised" me to settle for pennies because I wouldn't get more! Now it's been over 4 months since a settlement was agreed upon, and we've heard nothing but a shutdown of the government and holidays could have slowed things down. And now there's waiting for an appeal with Medicare, but for over 4 weeks, nothing has happened. A paralegal even told me she can only say what the lawyer told her without a chance to explain questions I was asking pertaining to the case. Swinson is an extraordinary lawyer. She communicated with me from the start, and she was very kind. This is the first case I have ever filed, and I did not know the procedures. Despite this, my dad and mom died after failing to get exposure compensation, and all the other family records were lost during Hurricane Katrina.
