Client Testimonials: 1. This firm is terrible. Cashed the retainer check and did absolutely none of the work they were hired to do. Total scam. They convinced us this was a very simple request, just requiring the filing of paperwork for a non disputed name change requested by both parents. Months passed, name-change paperwork was never filed, the retainer amount dwindled, phone calls weren't returned, bookkeeper wouldn't or couldn't explain the use of the retainer fees. Five months later the lawyer (Justin) who convinced us to "trust him" finally returned a phone call and apologized that our case had "fallen through the cracks", followed by an offer to only refund the still remaining retainer, not any of the used retainer that even he could not explain its use, giving him the benefit of the doubt the he would look into it. He promised to speak to the senior lawyers about the rest of the retainer. We have never heard from. Him again. We then called and contacted the office for the next 4 months, asking them to return the original documentation i provided for the name change. Jack Barret is a fantastic lawyer and handled court very well. He did an excellent job representing me and helping me win full joint custody. His advice along the way was vital in getting me to a place where I have a better outlook on the conflicts in my particular case. Can't say enough good things and you can't go wrong with Jack. I also applaud the excellent services provided by his firm. Half the battle is what you do outside the court room and the information his firm provides is helpful for all situations and scenarios. 4.
