Client Testimonials: 1. Recently Carrie Walters was my ex -wife's attorney in my divorce case. I contacted her for a Power of Attorney (POA) to move my vehicle title as ex-wife's name was on the title as well as mine equally. The fact by law in North Caroling a husband can't assign a family car to his name until the vehicle is just registered to him and his wife. In our case the Registration was only in my name and my ex-wife's name which required both signatures to do the transfer. I will also have to have the title as well. I took the form to the North Carolina License Plate Agency (NCLPA) and attempted to do the transfer but they couldn't read the Notary Seal that Mrs. Walters applied to the form. Mrs. Walters' phone mailbox was full so I went to her Office during open hours and it was locked with noises inside. I thought she was busy and left a voicemail outside her office door. I finished my email to her as requested and waited for a call back. Once she called me, she assured me that the form was correctly sealed but the seal was a bit faint and that she didn't have a duplicate copy. Mrs. Walters requested me to take the form to NCLPA for the second time and tell them to check it again. But NCLPA still said that it's unclear and hence can't be accepted. I also copied the form to any Bank of America (BOA) near me and they couldn't read it also. That means the form was turned down three times because it has a faint Notary Seal. I wanted my attorney to do the right thing as having a clear Notary Seal. But Mrs. Walters wanted me to pay $250 Retainer Fee to stamp the form again. I'm not sure if she knows how much it costs to seal a form correctly. Most notaries charge only $10. And I'm willing to pay that, but not $250 just to seal a form a single document. That's all about my story. This review was from Mr. Clem 2. Recently Carrie Walters was my ex -wife's attorney in my divorce case.
