About this business
Feedback Summary for Morrow Porter Vermitsky & Taylor: John Vermitsky is my oldest friend and will remain a close companion until I die. Although John is an excellent attorney who secured a favorable outcome for my family, this review is special. John has a heart, soul, and character that sets him apart from other superior attorneys in the country. Our school district denied our disabled son the Equal Access Act and IDEA-mandated FAPE for his schooling. At first, this was not a specialty of John’s, but he knew the law and worked hard to learn it. He fought the school district for years to get us past monetary damages, and a future we can afford to pay for his arrangement to stay out of school due to his needs. His big break came when the school got all of his medical records against our wishes. This woman’s job was to defend bad men in school districts. The school district paid the deductible to the insurance company for defense, and money was not an issue. John was nothing but courage in the face of fear. John’s relentless energy shines and for an attorney he was great. My son thrives in his new education, costing the school through his struggle to get it done. John is a workhorse, competitor, strategist, winner, and fighter, above all. He has found his calling, with his enormous heart that crushes kindness and compassion. No matter the kind of law, the case, everything else, it all comes down to who you are in the corner. I feel sorrow for those on the other side against John. He figures it out and finds a way to make it work. My family was lucky to have John on our side. His wife Natalie is equally amazing. God made John and his wife a special gift for humanity. His parents shaped him for the fantastic man he became. I see him grow from a boy to a man and a husband and father. His nature can be summarized as a workhorse, competitor, thinker, protector, and very kind and compassionate. He is a strong fighter as a black belt. John chose to be an attorney to fight the wrongs in the world. He found his career to help individuals truly in need. He is truly a wonderful human filled with fight, love, and compassion. John won the day against the mighty school district. We are grateful for his compassion and kindness toward our family and other individuals that need his help. Erin Woodrum is my lawyer, and she is excellent. Very personable and easy to work with when you are going through a life-changing event. She is very good at keeping you updated on everything and getting things done.
