I can’t explain how amazing it feels to walk away from that relationship. I'm walking away with my life, my freedom and the right example for my child. I can’t imagine the possibility of not following through now, but I was questioning it before, due to the extreme trauma bond I had with my now ex husband. Lisa’s support was absolutely amazing through all of the craziness and roller coaster of emotions. She helped me ask myself the right questions when I wanted to give up and l'll always be grateful for her help. I never felt alone and helped me find my voice and my strength. I was able to finalize my divorce, close on my first home and now I am strong enough to move into my new life, with grace and determination! If you are in an abusive situation, please know that you are strong enough to leave. One day you will choose you and nothing will be able to keep you down.
