J Customer Feedback Summary: Jay Ferrio is the worst lawyer in town, taking over a year to respond to the opposing lawyer. He lied repeatedly about it. It is astonishing that Jay Ferrio is still in operation. Unprofessionalized services were disappointing to our clients. They needed a new secretary, and Jay did not meet the standards of the clients. This evening, she came in crying, screaming, and he said he would call the police, and she would be removed but was there while she cried. His price was $2500 to start the case. Jay and his team are amazing. They gave me realistic expectations from the start about my child custody case. They exceeded them. They communicate with me every step of the way. I would recommend him. He is incapable of being a lawyer anymore. He needs to retire. Jay did a terrible job representing our daughter. In terms of conflict of interest, he was the last man standing in town. I was poorly represented in my custody case. Jay does not have the mental capacity to represent anyone. His secretary did not turn in any evidence I provided to I found the claims. He did not ask any appropriate questions to unfounded situations. After court as the problems exist I asked for something to be done laurell refused multiple times on multiple occasions. I also feel they used my case as a repayment to another lawyer. If you want a lawyer to fight for you this is not the one! He doesn't see you as a person; you are a case in his schedule. I find it very STRANGE that someone who has been practicing law in New Mexico since the late 60s has only a few positive reviews that all happen to be from the same exact month. I'll let that slip for itself. I love these folks! I felt like it was a very personal connection with Jay and Squeak, and that I wasn’t just another client or case. Highly recommend, his staff has always been there for me on my speeding tickets. Very professional in every way.
