BexArt Studio and Gallery

Bex Nikols was born in Anaheim, California, and raised in Las Vegas. Music and art surrounded her at a young age. When she got her first set of paints at 16, she found her style. By 16, she had her first diagnosis of bipolar disorder. The art was a way to express feelings that she does not say. Her first Art show was in 2012. She has grown a lot since then. Sinewy had its show in an Arts Factory gallery in 2013. After a 5-year break, Bex has returned to Arts Factory and will have a series of exhibits throughout LV in 2019. The recent style change has catapulted her to new heights. Sinewy's style captures the essence of existence in a raw, fresh, organic and captivating manner. You can see the mental state in the painting. The noise of one's own mind constantly spinning, self-doubt and isolation. You never stop wondering. The artwork is deep and textured. The artwork can somehow calm your brain down when you look at it. Whether it is the color combinations or the strokes. Now Bex has her own gallery/studio in the Arts Factory.
