Review of Hillcrest Dental 1. Excellent2. Terrible3. I was nothing less than impressed with my visit to Hillcrest Dental. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted with open arms by some of the friendliest faces I have ever seen. The office was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Mof the hygienist was very helpful, understanding, and informative. Dr. Kasimi was fantastic, professional and kind, and made sure I was as comfortable as she could. The entire staff at Hillcrest Dental exceeded my expectations vivdly. The staff is super friendly, scheduling is simple, and they were able to keep the appointment quick and painless. The staff obviously cares about its patients and it shows in their work, and I would unequivocally recommend anyone to visit this office. 4. Informative and a very impressive looking establishment5. Review After over a decade as a client of Hillcrest Dental, the quality of care and professionalism have really gone down drastically, leaving me genuinely surprised. I feel so blindsided as someone who has trusted them for so long and now feels taken advantage of and disrespected. Two crowns they had placed popped off, and they say they can only offer me a discount one because it was under warranty, but it pops off every year for the past 3, the second one was also under warranty but had fallen off this year as well. So, you would think that alone would be a huge red flag, but it only gets worse. when they schedule to come fix the crown, they scheduled me wrong, and I ended up sitting in the chair for two hours with absolutely nothing being done due to me. Not a single thing was going to be done that appointment it was seriously just a complete waste of my time. Before they even started the appointment they had me sign paperwork saying that my warranty from the crown was still valid and therefore they wouldn't be charging me anything, and then they tried to charge me anyways. They said that I signed that I would pay after their horrible service and errors on my account bombarded me at my last appointment 6 months prior, which In the moment found myself just having to refute what they were saying and assure them that I would be contacting my insurance company to report them. I also reported this to the Better Business Bureau, and there's now a case opened with them. Fast-forward to today, my appointment was for a routine cleaning, and when I got there I was told that I had a balance for my last 2 appointments, which didn't make any sense because I pay for my visits as they occur. I was rushed to my appointment where they didn't allow time for freezing to set in so the freezing wore off while having a cleaning. While I was getting a cleaning they nurse accidentally sprayed water on my face and I had to set up and was told to just reset back where I was with flying water going all over the place, and then another point during the cleaning, She squirted water on my face. There was a mistake in my appointment, so I was there two hours longer than I should have been., having to sign a bunch of consents to get a freaking cleaning. When I was done with my appointment they also told me that the office, in fact, does not cover my insurance even though I already provided them with all the insurance info several appointments prior, while they were asking for me to pay that unknown balance. Hillcrest Dental is an absolute mess and I can’t deal! The lack of communication, the numerous billing errors, the low-quality dental work, and the complete disrespect for my time and loyalty are unacceptable. No one has even called to try and explain the numerous errors or to apologize for my upset over their continuous errors. Save yourself the headache and time, and do not go here.6. Incredible experience with the staff, dental assistants, and the hygienist. Conscious of where everything is, motivating to see how the clinic is organized. Thanks for the care received8. Review This is an awesome dental clinic! Great staff! Everyone was very welcoming and professional. Shoutout to Gladis, hygienist Misty, and Dr. Garret for taking care of me. You were awesome! They were all so patient in explaining everything, they paid attention to what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable. The office was also very clean. If you're looking for a dental clinic where you wouldn't have to worry about your safety, look no further! I highly recommend Hillcrest Dental. 9. Fantastic staff!10. Best experience ever at a dental office! Maybe I've had good luck in my life, maybe this clinic can be this exceptional, but after visiting here, I don't think any other dental clinic can come close. This was a great experience for me –I was treated kindly and professionally from day one. The staff at Hillcrest Dental deserves to be recognized for providing the best dental service in town. This was the best service that I have ever received from a dental office. Dr. Navarro was amazing, and all the staff, including Cynthia, Ivette, and Steven, really took great care of me and my family. They were very thoughtful and provided me with water, medication, blankets, and even phone calls to inform my family about my progress. I have been truly overwhelmed by the care that I received from them. And there is none other than Jay! Jay is a star! He goes beyond your expectations and his positive attitude was truly motivating. He helped me address and resolve my issues with such speed and efficiency. I believe he has a successful future ahead of him. We cannot fail to acknowledge the effort of this amazing team. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work. God bless you all. Special thanks to Dr. Navarro, Nadia, Steven, and Jay because you really made me feel cared for and I appreciate your hard work. ---Malissa Carbajal11. Review of Hillcrest Dental I had a lovely time. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.12. Excellent service. I highly recommend Hillcrest Dental. I even told my insurance I preferred this office because of them. Very professional staff13. They did not take walk-ins14. Worst experience ever at a dentist. There is a good reason that three of the four 1-star reviews are a 1-star. A lot of what is being written in these negative reviews is my exact experience! I never do this but felt compelled to post my experience so I can also warn others to STAY AWAY from Hillcrest Dental! This office is a total joke! Tacky used car salesmen tactics across the board… I went in for a routine cleaning and as someone who flosses every day, brushes my teeth 3x a day, and goes to the dentist every 6 months, they had shit to tell me about problems in my mouth. I just ignored it paid for the cleaning and went about my day. 6 months later at my next cleaning, they kept saying I needed 2 crowns, and Invisalign, and scared me that I wouldn't have a good mouth if I didn't get them or that if I didn't do this exact method of treatment, the worst thing could happen. I was like fine, schedule me for a different day to take care of these "problems". They made me pay upfront for the crowns that insurance covered, then told me I owed another 265$ for my last appointment 6 months prior that I already paid. I called my insurance to check and they emailed me the proof that the amount was already paid, then 2 days before the appointment, the day before the appointment they called me and said my insurance suddenly wasn't covering my crowns and then tried to tell me I owed thousands more. I canceled the appoint and requested a refund for the money that I had already paid. After this, they tried charging me 108$ for not showing up to the appointment I canceled because they canceled my insurance, even though they guy on the phone said all previous money would be refunded for the crowns that insurance supposedly was covering. Stay away from Hillcrest Dental…. They are a total JOKE! Four 1-star reviews are all right!
