Budget Truck Rental

Feedback Summary from Customers 416- 1. Closed. Drove to this location and deserted. Call the Budget and directed to another location. 2. Terrible customer service. 3. They charged us for two drivers because I paid for the truck and entered my boyfriend as the driver. Owner is rude and unhelpful. Go somewhere else. Charges are two times what was quoted online. 4. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this budget truck rental location. Five months ago This budget truck rental was horrible. I had a rental reservation for 8:30am, and I needed movers to come help me at 9am. Our movers showed up at 9 and there was no attendant on the property. We waited and waited but saw no movement in the office, so we finally got fed up and started booking with a different company when the attendant finally opened the front door nearly 45 minutes after our reservation time. He was obviously hungover, smelled of alcohol, and couldn't quite manage to speak intelligibly. He took ages to get us set up with the truck we had already booked, barely even looking at us the entire time, and we had to repeat requests for information several times. He took another 10 minutes just to open the door to let us in the office to pay, meaning it was just over an hour before we had the truck and could leave - 30 minutes after we were supposed to meet our movers. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from this location. Added insult to the whole process, the truck smelled heavily of smoke, which normally wouldn't be a problem, so long as they were washing the trucks between rentals during a pandemic, the cab should have been cleaned, yet there were still trash and receipts from what appeared to be the previous renter. And then to top it off, when we came back to return the truck, the open sign was on and the door was completely locked and the guy was again not on the property. I got so frustrated that I started pounding on doors and windows to try and get some attention. Fifteen minutes of shouting and knocking on every window later, he poked his head out of the building and said, "What?" We explained that we were returning our truck, and he said, "Where da truck it?" So we pointed, and he finally got us squared away in about another 15 minutes. If you have the choice, for love of all that is holy, don't rent from this location. DO NOT RENT from this budget rental.
